Saving Hope: Men of the Texas Rangers Book 1 by Margaret Daley

A suspenseful read that deals with human trafficking. This book captures you from chapter 1 and doesn't let go until the last chapter. Kate Winslow runs a Beacon School of Hope, a place for girls to try to get away from prostitution. A young girl, Rose goes missing from Hope House. Kate does not really believe that Rose returned to prostitution. A race to find the girl before something terrible happens begins. She meets up with Texas Ranger, Wyatt Sheridan, a single dad trying to raise a rebellious daughter after his wife dies. Together Wyatt and Kate will try to unravel this puzzle but will it be too late for Rose and for Wyatt's troubled daughter?

I really liked the way the author develops her characters and the storyline. I can't wait to read the next book in the Men of the Texas Ranger series, Shattered Silence, which is due out September 2012. Saving Hope was the first book I read of Margaret Daley's but it won't be my last.
