This book kept me captive from the first page mainly due to the mystery involved. Lucy calls Zac. She's in trouble. She thinks she is still engaged to him. She doesn't remember that she left him 7 1/2 months earlier. She still loves him and wants him back. He was hurt by her leaving and does not want to be hurt again. He wants nothing to do with her but circumstances force them to be together. I devoured this book in one day. I could not put it down until I found out why she left and what happened in those missing months. This book had a cast of likeable characters. I really loved the friendship that developed between Eden and Lucy. Eden was really the only friend she had. Most of the town had a grudge against her for leaving like she did. You won't regret reading this tender love story.
