Standoff by Patricia Bradley

I am loving this new series by one of my favorite authors. The book starts out with someone being murdered and the murders don't stop with the first one. I had no idea who the murderer was and if one person was involved or more than one person involved. Loved the characters of Luke and Brooke. She handlled some shocking news very well. I am not sure I would have handled what she learned in the same way.  I look forward to keeping up with them in future books. There is a preview at the end of the book and the next book will feature Brooke's best friend Emma.
