I always enjoy reading a Colleen Coble suspense novel. This one kept me on edge from the get go. Summer is a widow running a homestead and raising her niece all by herself. Strange things start happening on her homestead. Someone is trying to sagatoge her homestead business and sully her reputation. Tate alway a widower of a young daughter and is the cousin of her late husband offers his protection. Things continue to happen even while under his protection. A lot of things that are happening seem to point to one person. I figured out who the villain was early on but there were still some unexpected twists that I did not see coming. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys good suspense thriller type books.
